Good work should be
repeatable.
Policy tells us what Silver Path requires. Security standards protect the information we handle. SOPs turn those expectations into a clear operating process an agent can follow in the field.
Three layers. One operating system.
These are internal controlled documents. Public agent pages summarize the operating framework without publishing the manuals themselves. Affiliated producers will access the current approved copies through the authenticated Silver Path Platform.
Agency Policy & Procedure Manual
Ethics, licensing, training, Medicare/CMS compliance, marketing, enrollment, oversight, complaints, records, E&O, and annual review.
Information Security & Document Safety Manual
Approved systems, MFA, devices, email, PII/PHI, secure documents, cloud/vendor security, incident response, retention, and training.
Agent SOP & Operations Handbook
Twenty-four practical procedures that turn the two governing manuals into repeatable daily operating workflows.
Start with the job you are trying to do.
Select a common field task. The console shows the operating sequence, the record you should create, and the point where the producer should stop and escalate.
Prepare for a beneficiary appointment.
Confirm the appointment purpose, your authority, current materials, applicable scope documentation, and the secure path for any information or application before the meeting begins.
- Confirm the appointment purpose and any required permission or SOA documentation.
- Verify license, certification, appointment, and ready-to-sell status for expected products.
- Use current approved educational, marketing, and enrollment materials.
- Review known client context using only information needed to prepare.
- Identify the approved secure method for any application or document transmission.
Stop and verify before the meeting if status, materials, scope, or an eligibility/enrollment rule is uncertain.
The standards behind every workflow.
Different procedures have different details, but the same six operating habits should show up throughout the agency.
Beneficiary-First Conduct
Act honestly, competently, respectfully, and in good faith. Do not steer, pressure, mislead, or create artificial urgency.
Verified Authority
License, appointment, certification, jurisdiction, and ready-to-sell status come before regulated activity.
Contemporaneous Records
Material conversations, instructions, recommendations, decisions, and follow-up should be factual, dated, attributable, and stored appropriately.
Minimum-Necessary Security
Collect only what is needed, use approved systems, limit access, and protect sensitive information in transit and storage.
Early Escalation
When authority, compliance, security, or customer impact is uncertain, stop and raise the issue instead of improvising.
Quality & Review
Use checklists, maintain current training, audit files, correct deficiencies, and revisit controlled documents when requirements change.
Do not try to solve every problem alone.
The internal manuals repeatedly require prompt escalation when an issue can affect a beneficiary, agency authority, security, E&O exposure, or regulatory obligations.
