Silver Path Agent Readiness 6 stages
Start where you are

Which stage describes you today?

Path Navigator

One roadmap. Six readiness stages.

Select a stage to see its purpose, the work that belongs there, and what should be true before you move forward.

Stage 01 · Foundation

Get licensed.

01

Establish the state authority and identifiers required before you can transact insurance business.

What belongs in this stage
Before you advance Confirm your license is active and your identifying information is accurate.

Specific licensing steps depend on the state and line of authority.

Readiness gates

Progress should be based on verification, not assumption.

Each gate represents a different kind of readiness. Finishing one stage does not automatically satisfy the next.

01Authority

Active licensing and identifying information are confirmed.

02Protection

Business safeguards, E&O, and documentation practices are in place.

03Medicare readiness

Required annual and product-specific training is completed for the work you plan to do.

04Appointments

Contracting and carrier appointment requirements have been completed and verified.

05Ready-to-sell

Status is confirmed before discussing or enrolling products that require authorization.

06Field execution

The agent can run the appointment process, document it, and follow through responsibly.

Requirements can vary by state, carrier, product, distribution relationship, and calendar year. Silver Path will use current source documentation when publishing live checklists and carrier-specific instructions.

02 · Training & Development

Training should feel like preparation for the field.

Product knowledge matters, but agents also need a repeatable appointment process, compliant communication habits, documentation discipline, and a service rhythm after enrollment.

03 · Resources & Tools

The things an agent needs should be easy to find.

The dedicated Resource Center now brings together field forms, training references, readiness tools, official sources, downloads, and working field kits in one searchable library.

Open Resources & Tools
01Client & appointment tools

SOA, permission to contact, discovery worksheets, appointment checklists, and follow-up tools.

02Medicare & compliance references

CMS resources, Medicare references, compliance quick guides, and documentation standards.

03Contracting & certification links

Annual Medicare training, carrier certification, contracting, appointment, and ready-to-sell resources in one place.

04Calculators & field utilities

Practical tools agents can use while preparing for or supporting a beneficiary conversation.

After readiness comes execution

Your first appointment should not be your first rehearsal.

Once the readiness gates are complete, the Training Center takes over with appointment preparation, discovery, compliant conversation flow, enrollment workflow, documentation, and follow-up.
